Your Employer
This well-established, privately owned agribusiness is a vertically integrated leader in the cotton supply chain—from farm to gin to export. The Whitton-based site boasts 30,000m² of covered warehouse space with capacity for 160,000 bales, and services leading cotton merchants with full logistics, storage, and packing operations. The company is known for its close-knit, long-tenured team and its commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainable agriculture.

The Role
This role will see you manage a high-capacity cotton warehousing and logistics operation, ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of bales for domestic and international markets. You’ll coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, optimize warehouse systems and practices, and lead a multi-skilled team through seasonal peaks and off-peak periods.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Leading day-to-day warehouse operations, including bale storage, packing and dispatch.
* Managing logistics coordination and scheduling with third-party providers.
* Ensuring compliance with WHS and AQIS requirements.
* Monitoring and reporting on operational efficiency, warehouse metrics and inventory
* Managing a mix of permanent and seasonal warehouse staff (including Forklift Operators, Truck Drivers, and Admin)
* Contributing to business intelligence, process improvements and system upgrades
For a detailed list of responsibilities, a position description may be provided upon request.
About You
You’re a proactive leader with a hands-on approach to warehouse management and logistics. You thrive in fast-moving, high-volume environments, and your strong commercial acumen enables you to interpret operational data and drive efficiencies.

* Experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in export or commodity settings
