We are seeking an experienced Financie Officer to support key financial functions within a government-focused program. This role involves managing internal BAU and project budgets, handling end-of-month reporting, and providing financial insights for directors and executives. You will play a critical part in supporting new IT systems and services for aged care, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage budgets, provide financial status reports, and support Directors.
* Handle end-of-month financial reporting and respond to internal financial requests.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including Project Managers and Financial Business Partners.
* Drive process improvement and enhance financial systems.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in federal government financial roles.
* Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end cycles.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
