We are now seeking an experienced Senior Advisor Sustainability and Environment to support the continual improvement of Genesis sustainability and environmental performance. You will evaluate and advise on the Group's compliance to sustainability initiatives, environmental standards and systems, legislative and other obligations. In addition, you will assist in completing various reports, such as the annual Sustainability Report, emissions reporting, and disclosure. About the role: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of public sustainability commitments Coordinate the development of Genesis' climate-related disclosures to meet requirements for ASRS Assist in data analysis and reporting of environment and sustainability performance across the Group. Coordinate greenhouse gas and water reporting across the Group including providing guidance and training to relevant personnel across the business. Support the development and delivery of sustainability initiatives across the group. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental and sustainability management across the Group. Provide support for annual Sustainability Reporting and other ESG reporting requirements Provide support for annual emissions reporting Monitor and report Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions and energy use performance across the organisation to track progress towards reduction targets Support the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System across the business Assist in the development, implementation of the company Environmental Assurance Program What you can expect from us: A caring and supportive culture. We're excited to hear from you if you have: A tertiary qualification in Sustainability or Environmental Science (or a related discipline) Demonstrated experience in the sustainability and environmental field Extensive knowledge and applications of the Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental regulatory and sustainability framework. Experience in development of Sustainability-related reporting and alignment to frameworks Experience in development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems Ability to work autonomously and as part of the leadership team.
