Our Audit & Assurance IT team is made up of audit focused people who are all pivotal to the successful delivery of our IT External Audit engagements. We are dedicated to support the evaluation of our audit clients' IT control environment. The team draws on a diverse and dedicated group of people, powerful KPMG methodologies, innovating capability and assets, and global resources to support our clients in achieving the right milestones.
Your Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant in the IT Audit team, you will play a key role in:
* Delivering on IT external audit across a variety of industries.
* Developing, coaching and mentoring team members, providing stretch assignments to advance their capability.
* Providing technical knowledge, direction and training to engagement team members.
* Supporting engagement managers in the overall project management of engagements as well as the preparation of clear and concise reports to IT management and CIO’s.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:
* Background in external/internal audit and/or risk (ideally with a professional services firm) with a minimum of 2 years' experience. US-SOX accreditation is desirable.
* Have gained strong technology risk and controls knowledge.
* Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of clients and internal stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and share expertise with team members to strengthen capability.
* A tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Information Systems, Commerce or other), CA or CISA equivalent or ability to obtain a CA or CISA.
