This role can be a career as a Watchroom Operator working within the Emergency Services and Defence Industry or the first step into a career as a Firefighter.About the roleThis exciting position will see you work as part of a team of Firefighters who are responsible for responding to incidents including airfield, structural and bushfire management. You will perform duties as directed by the Station & Sub Station Officers including but not limited to:Maintaining operational readiness in accordance with relevant procedures.Ensuring that all relevant administrative duties associated with operational duties are performed.Complying with operational health and safety requirements.Undertaking training and drills as required to maintain operational readiness.Special conditions:To be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret).
