We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join our highly collaborative national P&D team as a Human Resources Manager or HR Senior Advisor, for global law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright. This role would be on a 12 month parental leave cover.
This is a key role in the People & Development team and is responsible for all areas relating to our people, including the attraction, retention, engagement of staff in line with our business principles and objectives. The role will work closely with and support our Partners and business leaders, in a dynamic, fast moving and high performing environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Supporting partners and managers in talent management, performance management, training and coaching, and IR / ER issues
* Manage the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and coach the business through change and culture programs
* An understating of Workplace, Health and Safety Legislation and implementation
* Execute and communicate all annual processes including performance and remuneration reviews, as well as promotions and engagement survey results
* Actively participate in key projects/initiatives to support organisational strategic goals and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support the wellbeing of our people, act as escalation point for employee relations issues
* Work closely with P&D Managers to ensure information flow is consistent with HR delivery solutions nationally
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a strong background in HR business partnering ideally with a minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience gained within a professional services firm. Able to demonstrate a strong ability to manage relationships with senior business leaders as well as commercial awareness and understanding of how to align HR initiatives with business strategy, you will also have excellent relationship-building skills and a high level of attention to detail:
* Experience of working within a highly professional and complex environment
* Good understanding of employment legislation and contemporary HR practice
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage all situations to an outcome.
* Be proactive, engaging and deliver the highest levels of service to employees and Partners.
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
