About the role
As a passionate and driven Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist for Foot Locker Asia Pacific (APAC), you will be responsible for rolling out L&D and talent engagement initiatives across corporate and store roles for APAC.
Note: This is a permanent, part-time position, negotiable across 3 full days or 5 shorter days, e.g.
school hours.
Hours include 1 day working from home, with Tuesday being a compulsory in-office day for everyone.
ResponsibilitiesAssess the training requirements across all stores and corporate team members, ensuring alignment with Foot Locker's strategic objectives and individual development needs.Develop measurable training plans encompassing strategies, content outlines, schedules, resource allocations, and performance metrics to effectively address identified needs.Produce and distribute a range of instructional materials tailored to business requirements and to enhance the learning experience.Partner with local and global HR teams to deliver interactive and impactful learning sessions from onboarding to leadership development programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Support and elevate the Engagement, Wellness, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) strategy.Develop and roll out a succession planning and capability development process.Lead/support and/or contribute to key, strategic people and performance organisational projects and initiatives.QualificationsAbout you Qualifications in Training, Learning & Development, Education, Business (or related discipline).Minimum four (4) years' experience in a similar role (preferably in a retail or similar industry).Experience in designing and evaluating training programs.Experience managing large scale programs and multiple projects.Ability to analyse business needs and design specific solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.A proactive, accountable and hands-on approach.Passion for the retail industry and desire to contribute to a world-class organisation.BenefitsWhat's in it for you Annual performance-based bonus.A flexible hybrid working environment.Excellent staff discounts on Foot Locker products – Nike, Adidas, ASICS, and many more!Free on-site parking.Access for you and your immediate family to our Employee Assistance Program.Free access to Wellhub (Gympass).An inclusive and supportive team culture.If this opportunity is of interest to you, click the 'Apply' button below including a cover letter addressing the 'About you' criteria and an up-to-date resume.
