Job Title: Commis Chef
The RACV Hobart Apartment Hotel is seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join their Kitchen brigade on a casual basis.
As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the kitchen across various sections, including our restaurant, bar, conference & events, and room service.
You will work within a highly dedicated team focused on quality and consistency, utilizing your passion for food and cooking related to creating dishes made from local ingredients.
Our hotel features two culinary offerings on site: Charcoal Restaurant and Cascade on Collins Bar. You will be rostered to meet business demands, with shifts varying across a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Requirements:
* Commercial Cookery Qualification – Cert III or IV
* A passion for locally sourced and seasonal produce
* A desire to develop among a driven & professional team
* Ability to work autonomously on a section or within a fast-paced team
* Exposure to stock-taking, wastage control, menu development, and costings
