This full-time role is based from our Western Treatment Plant in Werribee. As the Crew Maintenance, you will be responsible for civil maintenance and grass management works in waterways and land delivery environments at the Western Treatment Plant and Werribee region.Operation of plant and equipment such as tractor and front deck mower under supervision.Work under routine supervision either individually or in a team environment.Use and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.Understand and undertake defined quality control/assurance procedures including the ability to recognise fundamental quality deviations or faults.Experience in grass and weed management, waterways maintenance, asset inspection, and project works.Ability to work proactively as a member of the team, contribute fully to team decision-making, and take responsibility for own role in ensuring the safety of all team members and other personnel on site.Ability to work and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.Valid Victorian Driver's license (MR or HR would be favourable).Ability to pass both a Criminal Record check and Pre-Employment medical.At Melbourne Water, we care about water and all life that springs from it.Our people are fuelled by passion, and with safety at the forefront, we have an unwavering sense of purpose, and are on a mission to protect every Melburnian's way of life, one drop at a time.We walk the talk when it comes to flexible working – but that's not all.
