ICT Support Technician
Sektor specialises in delivering innovative and efficient technologies for the retail, networking, security, healthcare, modern workplace, mobility, cyber security and payments markets. Sektor requires at least one additional ICT Support Technician. This role is for an experienced motivated electronic equipment technician with a minimum of two years’ stable experience preferred.
Tasks:
· Perform installations, repair, support, troubleshoot, test, and maintain Computer, POS, PDT, Tablets, Kiosk and peripherals.
· Undertake pre-delivery testing, analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of client problems via phone, e-mail, remotely and face to face contact.
· Resolve complex issues related to system failure of hardware, software, communication devices, printers, and production servers.
· Ghosting images and prepare Servers, POS, Computer, Tablet for distribution.
· Perform acceptance testing for new products to add to Sektor's product pool i.e., benchmarking new units, checking the durability of the product, comparing it to units that are currently stocked and noting down any additional details that may contribute to the value proposition.
· Provide Technical support, RMA issue, performed updates and maintain technical knowledge of product line segments.
· Continuously reviewing performance against Service Level Agreements.
· Support on-call schedule, Field visits and respond to priority incidents.
Other requirements include:
· Relevant formal higher education training in IT.

Package:
· Full-time;
· 40 hours per week (additional hours as per contract and as reasonably required);
· Salary is $74,000 pa;
