We are looking for a dynamic & experienced Sales Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead and support the Wholesale Sales Team, driving initiatives that enhance IPD's market share and help achieve our growth and profitability objectives.

IPD Group has a strong focus on strategic growth within the Electrical Wholesale channel across Australia and providing value adding support to our highly valued partner wholesalers to achieve sustainable growth is essential.
As the WA/SA/NT Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of the National Wholesale leadership team and have direct responsibility for the profitable performance of the Wholesale business in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our success in these regions and the entire IPD business nationally.
This position will work closely with, and report to the General Manager for Wholesale and will be based in our Welshpool office.
About the role:
In conjunction with the national wholesale business plan, develop and implement a business plan for WA/SA/NT, ensuring action plans lead to successful outcomes.
Maintaining a deep understanding of the market and wholesale channel and leveraging these insights to identify sales opportunities for IPD’s products and solutions while keeping abreast of competitor activities.
Maintaining a high level of knowledge regarding IPD’s products and solutions. Ensuring that relevant marketing and technical information is effectively communicated to the sales team, enabling them to sell confidently and competently.
Providing leadership and supervision to the Wholesale sales team, facilitating their training and development, and ensuring that individual sales targets and performance metrics are met through positive and effective coaching.
Positively promote the use of CRM for customer management, reviewing call plans and ensuring customers are adequately serviced to strengthen the IPD brand & growth ambitions.
Collaborate with other IPD business units and key customers for market feedback and success.
About you
Experience working in or supporting the Electrical Wholesale channel.
Experience leading a geographically diverse external sales team.
A strong understanding of the broader Electrical Industry
A high level of written and verbal communication skills
A proven level of competency in the management of KPI's, margins and sales figures.
Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software.
Proven communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent time management and planning skills
Must have the ability to travel to clients throughout the regions of WA/SA/NT
