As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team.
With location flexibility - choose from Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Perth.
About the role
The Contract Administrator holds the critical responsibility for the contractual administration of goods, materials, and services. This pivotal role aims to help the project meet its quality, time, and cost targets while minimizing risk.
Operating under the guidance of the Project Manager and Commercial Lead for the project, the Contract Administrator is accountable for catering to the project's contract administration requisites, in alignment with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Your key duties and responsibilities include:
· Overseeing and executing the contract administration responsibilities for the project.
· Preparing accurate client payment claims, ensuring their punctual submission.
· Supporting and organizing timely reviews and approval (or disputes) of payment claims.
· Negotiating terms and facilitating the signing of subcontracts.
· Supervising and tracking contract securities, insurances, claims, and variations.
· Collaborating with the Project Manager, Design Manager, and Construction Manager to ensure punctual delivery of all goods and services.
Qualifications and experience required for this role include:
· A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
· Comprehensive experience in a Contracts Administration role or similar position.
· The demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, handling multiple and complex demands simultaneously.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office tools: MS Word, MS Excel, email.
· Desirable experience in SAP Software/accounting and associated reporting processes.
Keep in mind that the position not only requires extensive knowledge in contract administration but also strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
