Reporting to the Head of Category, you will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships, analyzing data for key insights, and driving brand growth in the Australian market.What You'll Be DoingAct as Botany Group's Supplier Manager, fostering a hands-on relationship with your supplier's business development and marketing teams.Develop a deep understanding of supplier operations within our business.Address supplier inquiries across various departments, covering areas such as:Sales performance and forecasting (PO & ExF)Range reviews and insightsPricing strategies and margin considerationsInventory levels, MOQs, and supply chain processesMarketing, promotions, and trade spend (TTS & BMI)Financials, including payment terms and claims managementSource and manage necessary inputs for retailer reviews, brand plans, JBP agreements, and workshop presentations, including samples, imagery, marketing plans, overseas insights, and NPD information.Project ManagementLead and coordinate key projects to deliver retailer reviews, JBP agreements, business updates, and best-in-class retail execution.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution.Market & Category AnalysisBecome Botany Group's category expert, with in-depth knowledge of our brands, competitors, and market trends.Stay updated on local and global industry developments to provide valuable insights.Provide actionable insights on sales, market trends, and competitive activity.Brand Planning & StrategyWork closely with the sales team and the supplier's marketing team to develop data-driven strategies that drive retail sales and brand growth.Align brand objectives with Botany Group's budget and supplier JBP targets.Formalize, track, and optimize brand plans throughout the year, adjusting strategies as needed.Reporting & Data AnalysisOwn all internal and external reporting related to your portfolio.Use Excel, Power BI, IRI, NielsenIQ, and other data sources to analyze performance and identify opportunities.Presentations & Stakeholder EngagementDevelop and deliver best-in-class presentations for JBP meetings, retailer reviews, and supplier updates (MBRs).Work cross-functionally to ensure data-driven and compelling storytelling.Trade Marketing & Budget ManagementOptimize trade spend (TTS & BMI) to maximize ROI.Develop and execute effective promotional programs in collaboration with the sales team.Oversee claims management, ensuring all Co-Op, TTS, and BMI expenditures are accurately tracked and recovered.To be successful you will have:Advanced Excel, IRI, NielsenIQ, Quantium Data Analysis and Powerpoint Skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting.Proven experience analysing and leveraging data for powerful insights.Track record of delivery and ability to work autonomously, always taking initiative.More than 5 years of experience in Category/Marketing/Shopper Marketing manager.Have a bachelor degree or higher qualification.About Botany GroupBotany Group is a proudly Australian-owned full-service distribution company, dedicated to bringing an exceptional range of brands to the Australian retail market.Our progressive team is balanced by generations of knowledge and expertise.
