Your New Role
In this role of Senior Manager Business Resiliency, you will be a key member of the Financial Crime, Privacy & Resilience Team within Group Risk. The role has four main objectives; you will be accountable for ensuring adequate general and Trustee insurance arrangements including specialised areas such as Cyber Insurance, the oversight of Business Continuity Management ("BCM"), planning and leading the annual Crisis test and overseeing that models are created, maintained, validated and retired in accordance with the Model Risk Management Standard ("MRMS").
Key duties include but are not limited to:
1. Act as a trusted advisor on all Trustee insurance, BCM and modelernance matters; providing strategic, well thought out advice to ensure that the relevant areas are effectively managed, and in doing so, the Fund achieves measurable positive business and member oues.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels across AustralianSuper and have a strong grasp over business objectives, challenges and risks (current and emerging) to facilitate greater collaboration between First and Second lines of defence in relation to the management of the areas of responsibility and particularly risk reporting.
3. Undertake Second Line monitoring and oversight activities in line with agreed areas of focus and scope and influence business decision-making regarding findings and improvement opportunities.
4. Provide insightful analysis, interpretation and challenge regarding the Enterprise Risk Profile, based on a thorough technical understanding of Risk Management, together with robust knowledge of the business and a deep and broad market view on risk and current best practice.
5. Work collaboratively across AustralianSuper to inform and rmend changes to operational risk frameworks, policies, standards and procedures that may impact positively on Trustee Insurance, BCM and model riskernance.
6. Facilitating the renewal and selection of general and Trustee insurance for the Fund
7. Drive the agenda across the Fund to improve the Fund's maturity and adherence to industry best practice in model riskernance.
8. Work with First Line to identify potential severe loss scenarios relevant to the Fund and ensure that adequate response plans are developed and agreed with the Leadership Team.
What You'll Need
9. Tertiary qualifications in Business,merce, Law or Industry related field required, and post tertiary qualification in financial services, superannuation, risk management, information systems or information security desirable .
10. Strong Risk advisory experience (10+ years), preferably gained in a Financial Services organization.
11. Demonstrated capability in the areas of insurance and BCM.
12. Outstandingmunication skills and ability to engage and influence at all levels including Board, Boardmittees, Senior Leadership, peers, industry bodies and regulators.
13. Preferred experience in dealing with APRA, ASIC and other financial services regulators.
14. Outstanding ability to write with effect, particularly in relation to creating reports and updating risk framework documents.
15. Strong understanding of control design and operating effectiveness.
16. Experience in building sound risk awareness amongst colleagues by providing ongoing support and training.
17. Demonstrated ability to respectfully challenge, deal with conflict and stand their ground where required.
