The Role We are looking for a part time Commis Chef to join our passionate Dock 37 team.
The Successful Commis Chef Will Be responsible for the preparation and production of ingredients and menu items to the required standard. Ensure a high level of attention and care to special requests and food allergies. Follow food hygiene regulations at all times. Follow hotel policies and procedures at all times. Talent Profile Ideally You Will Have Relevant qualifications/certificates in Cookery (Certificate III or equivalent), HACCP and local Food Safety Handling & Hygiene. Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef in a four or five star hotel or a similar fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to work productively and safely at all times with a focus on quality control. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
