Some of the key duties &responsibilities would include:Execute audits of listed company, large private company andnot-for profit clients ranging in size and industryComplete planning sections of audit files withoutsupervisionIdentify audit and engagement risks and contribute to thedesign of an appropriate audit approach for eachassignmentWork closely with the engagement manager on the engagementidentifying potential problem areas or budget difficultiesCoordinates engagements without manager assistance,reporting directly to Partner where appropriateAwareness of reporting and regulatory requirements across avariety of frameworksAnalysis and documentation of internal controls and controlenvironmentsDraft management letters and completion reportsCoach and mentor junior colleagues and build internalrelationshipsLiaise with clients and identify future opportunitiesBDO’s Audit practice is a major player within the localmarketplace, auditing many of Australia’s leading public andprivate sector organisations across a diverse industry base.
