Paediatric Occupational Therapist - New Graduates Welcome!
Little Bears Allied Health is seeking a qualified, friendly, and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Paediatric practice on a full-time or part-time basis. This role consists of a varied paediatric caseload, including NDIS clients, private clients, and school services. At Little Bears Allied Health, we service Yeppoon and Rockhampton in a clinic and mobile setting (including home visits, school visits, daycare/kindy visits, and community visits). We are a locally owned multidisciplinary clinic based in Yeppoon that believes children and their families deserve quality, committed, supportive, and valuable therapy that is applicable to their lives. We use family-centred care to ensure every child is prioritised and supported.
This role requires knowledge of a range of child development challenges and diagnoses, some of which may include Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, and ADHD. At Little Bears, we see children from 0-18 years of age along with their families and support systems. Experience is not required; however, a willingness to learn is encouraged.

As an Occupational Therapist in this role, the following skills are required:
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Public liability and indemnity insurance (paid for by Little Bears)
* Preferred knowledge and experience of Paediatric Occupational Therapy (however, new graduates are welcome to apply!)
* Valid driver’s licence and registered vehicle
* Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
* Passion for helping and supporting vulnerable families within our region
* Empathy and a willingness to go above and beyond for each family
* Confidence to work in a mobile setting and in collaboration with other professionals
