Role Our client is one of the leaders in the field of data capture and transfer in the global livestock industry. Electronic identification increases both traceability and profitability through improved and more efficient livestock management. They have a solid reputation for customer service and a quality range of products, supplying farmers in Australia with NLIS ear tags since 2011 and with other ear tags and equipment for even longer. Responsibilities You would be the face of our company across Northern New South Wales and Southern Queensland. In this role, you will leverage your livestock industry expertise and networks to drive sales of our innovative livestock identification and management solutions. You will work remotely from the field (ideally based around Tamworth) while staying closely connected to our national team. This is a hands-on position with plenty of on-farm engagement – perfect for a self-motivated individual who can build relationships with producers and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves in the yards. Requirements Livestock Industry Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in the livestock sector (cattle and/or sheep). You might be a former station/stud manager, livestock agent, or agribusiness sales rep – the key is a deep understanding of livestock production and producer needs Product Knowledge: Strong practical knowledge of livestock handling equipment and on-farm technology. You should be comfortable working around cattle and sheep and proficient in using equipment such as taggers, weighing systems, drafting or handling systems, etc Identification & Traceability: Familiarity with livestock identification systems and traceability programs. Experience with electronic ID (RFID/EID) tagging, NLIS requirements, and related software or data systems is highly desirable. Tech Savvy: Confidence in using computers and mobile devices for work. Ability to learn and use sales software, email, Microsoft Office, and other applications to communicate and report effectively. Remuneration and Location This role has an attractive remuneration level, including a car. The location is flexible within northern NSW and southern Queensland.
