The Role
This temporary position for a Financial Accountant will commence ASAP and run for 12 weeks with a minimum of 3 weeks' notice to exit.
Responsibilities include:
* Cleansing, reconciling (including supporting documents/contracts) and redesigning processes and accounting for Right Of Use Assets, Rebates processing and Capitalisation of fixed assets.
* Reconciling Trade creditors.
You will also be responsible for auditing:
* Compliance to the delegation of authority.
* Inventory management and controls.
The Person
To succeed in this role you must be a high performer with a drive to achieve your goals. You should be process orientated, highly organised and possess excellent written and verbal skills.
Qualifications and experience required include:
* A CPA/CA qualification.
* Several years of experience in Audit and relevant industry experience, such as utilities/energy, technical infrastructure or sustainability.
* A strong working knowledge of Dynamics BC and/or Xero.
* Advanced Excel skills.
This role offers a flexible schedule with 4 days per week worked from our office in South Melbourne and 1 day per week working from home. Additionally, you will be required to travel to Sydney for 2-3 days each month.
