The Digital Projects Manager will manage a range of small hardware and software technology projects that are aligned with Thales EO Services strategy to introduce a range of digital solutions into its Operating Model. These solutions will enable Thales EO Services to modernise a range of legacy processes, so that the business can deliver a customer-focussed EO supply The Digital Projects Manager will lead a team comprised of the EO Services Software Developer and the Digital Solutions Support Officer to introduce innovative customer-facing digital solutions and new ways of working. They will consult with members of the EO Services Planning & Analysis Centre to ensure that digital solutions provide data of sufficient quantity and quality to support timely and accurate decision-making in the ADF EO supply chain. Ensuring alignment of digital transformation projects with strategic business needs in the EO domain. Leading the preparation of scoping assessments and proposals for new digital transformation projects. Guiding the design and development of digital solutions in the explosive ordnance supply chain, ensuring the best possible customer experience and continued alignment with strategic goals. Coordinating user trials of digital solutions used by Thales in the explosive ordnance supply chain, and reporting on the outcomes of those trials. Leading the implementation and integration of EO logistics digital solutions into EO Services business processes. Effectively self-managing allocated tasking and time when working individually or collaboratively, escalating risks and issues to the General Manager Planning & Analysis. Contributing to software process improvement activities and initiatives. Complying with all company policies and procedures. Complying with all relevant company Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and frameworks and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimising accidental exposures to self, colleagues, visitors and/or the environment YOUR EXPERIENCE To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience: Diploma of Project Management, or higher. Strong Project Management skills, preferably in the deployment and administration of modern digital solutions in geographically dispersed remote locations. Strong technical writing skills. Awareness of Web Technologies, Containerisation, Virtualisation, Mobile Device Management and Cloud based technologies. Sound knowledge of cybersecurity best practice and techniques. Microsoft operating systems and desktop productivity tools. Experience with Warehousing or Logistics Software Applications. Knowledge of Australian Defence programs.
