The Role:Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for 500 employees.
This position requires hands-on experience with Micropay and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment.
Your core duties will include: Manage, process and review payroll across Australia for 500 staff members both fortnightly and monthly using Micropay Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
Maintain and update payroll records, including leave balances, superannuation, and tax details.
Address payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors efficiently.
About You: Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably using Micropay.
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively handle employee inquiries.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
