IT Project Manager SAP
The Role
The position is responsible for the implementation of a series of projects to upgrade and optimize the Sanitarium SAP environment. This will include version upgrades and the implementation of new and enhanced capabilities.
4. Ensure project results have an articulated scope with quantifiable business benefit.
5. Manage issues and risks arising within the project lifecycle.
6. Manage project spend and validate financial forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Represent the project at project governance and inter-department forums.
8. Align projects to project methodology compliance standards set by the framework.
9. Develop communication plans and interfaces to actively engage business partners.
10. Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
11. Communicate and report on project and program progress to key stakeholders.
12. Assess, prioritise and resolve/mitigate all project risks as they are encountered.
13. Define and create project plans for projects, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation.
14. Manage all aspects of the project life cycle, and work with team members to oversee all phases of project completion.
15. Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the project lifecycle.
16. Manage scope to ensure agreed time, cost, and quality parameters are met in line with agreed business expectations.
17. Perform other tasks as directed by the IT Business Engagement Manager.
Skills & Experience
18. Tertiary qualification in information technology or relevant industry experience.
19. Strong project experience in ERP transformation.
20. Must have experience in delivering transformation projects from 1 platform to another ie. on-prem to cloud.
21. SAP S4/HANA experience is desirable but not essential.
22. 5+ years demonstrated experience in delivering technical projects to support business solutions.
23. Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
24. Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools. (Visio, MS Project, Project Server etc).
25. Familiarity with PMI or PRINCE2 or equivalent, methodology.
26. Proven relationship building skills.
27. Proven project resource management experience.
28. Excellent Communication skills - clear, concise and targeted.
29. Excellent Writing and Documentation skills.
30. Critical Thinking and complex Problem-Solving skills.
31. Proven Stakeholder Management experience across a diverse range of teams.
32. Confident in reporting project updates to the steering committee and board.
