Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, System Performance Division
About the Role
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director of the System Performance Division, Department for Education. The role involves coordinating calendar events, meetings, and travel arrangements, as well as ensuring timely responses to urgent matters.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide executive support to the Executive Director on day-to-day matters
* Coordinate calendar events, meetings, and travel arrangements
* Ensure timely and appropriate responses to urgent matters
* Act as a central point of contact for the Executive Director and the division
* Work closely with the Business Manager to provide administrative services across HR, Finance, and facilities management

The successful applicant will have:
* No essential qualifications required
* A relevant tertiary qualification desirable
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to employment, which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
Remuneration
$76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
