They are seeking an experienced EL1 Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll transform complex ideas, processes, and services into clear, impactful, and professional visual materials that drive engagement and understanding.Your new roleAs an EL1 Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-brand designs. Your creative solutions will effectively communicate the department's purpose and services, supporting strategic objectives and making a measurable impact.Key Responsibilities:Design Development and Production: Develop innovative design solutions and produce high-quality artwork for diverse audiences, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the department's values.Brand Consistency: Create on-brand designs that reflect the department's identity and maintain visual consistency across all communications.Visual Storytelling: Simplify complex information through engaging visual narratives that resonate with target audiences.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage design requirements and oversee projects from concept to completion.Quality Control: Ensure all outputs meet high standards of quality, consistency, and accessibility compliance (WCAG).What you'll need to succeed:Tertiary qualifications in graphic design or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.Proven understanding of government branding guidelines and WCAG accessibility standards.Exceptional ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Demonstrated experience maintaining brand consistency across large-scale implementations.Australian citizenship is mandatory for this role.What you'll get in return:This role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful design projects within a collaborative and high-performing team.
