The client is seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join their team, playing a key role in a small but growing DevOps function.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations by automating processes, maintaining and optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring seamless continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
You will work with various teams to improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of their systems.

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible.Monitor system performance and respond to incidents with root cause analysis and post-mortem reports.Optimize and ensure the scalability, availability, and security of production systems.Implement system monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure proactive issue resolution.Manage containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in DevOps.Experience & Qualifications: Likely to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.Virtualisation technologies (VMWare, XCP, etc.
).Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
).Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.
).Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
).Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Zabbix, etc.
).Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell, Bash, etc.
).Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.
