Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their busy team for a long-term temporary assignment until the end of Dec 2025.
About the role:
As a Project Manager, you will support the service and process design team in maintaining and building key journey map and process map artefacts to support the Agency. In addition, you will:
Develop, manage, and implement project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework. Contribute to project design, governance arrangements, and operational integration. Ensure project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget. Report on project outputs to stakeholders and oversee regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports. Undertake budget management, monitor expenditure, and oversee procurement and contract management activities. Identify, assess, manage, escalate, and monitor project risks, issues, and benefits, including developing treatment strategies. About you:
The successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a Project Management role, ideally within the Government or Healthcare space. The ability to understand complex issues and interpret data to assist in determining root-cause issues. A deep understanding of Project Management and the ability to use differing project tools. The ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflicting or challenging situations. Expert knowledge of Jira and Confluence. A detailed understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM platforms. Benefits: Immediate start pending Federal Police Check. Temporary casual assignment until the end of December 2025. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Melbourne VIC, Geelong VIC, Adelaide SA, and Sydney NSW locations. $602.55 per day + super. Hybrid working environment. *** Please note the successful candidate for this role will hold Australian Citizenship and must be willing to complete a Federal Police Check ***
