Cyclones and Process EngineerWeir MineralsArtarmon | Wingfield | Eight Mile PlainsOnsitePurpose of Role: As the Cyclone and Process Engineer, you will specialize in the OE cyclone equipment and aftermarket product range, assessing the needs of the client and providing product solutions from a technical and sales aspect to help achieve the customers' objectives.
You will be able to determine the best approach to solving complex problems and effectively communicate your recommendations to all stakeholders.
Providing expert advice, responding to RFQs, and supporting the growth and optimization of the cyclone business within the mining and mineral processing sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Familiarise and specialize in OE Cyclone equipment and aftermarket products.
Respond to requests for quotes and provide advice on equipment selections, operation, and maintenance.
Organize and visit mineral processing operations, liaising with stakeholders.
Develop strategies to grow the aftermarket cyclone business.
Analyze and model cyclone performance using software like JKSimMet.
Development of reports, presentations, concept designs, and layouts ready to present to stakeholders.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in Engineering in mineral processing, Chemical Engineering, or similar field.
Experience with Cyclones and mineral processing plants – highly desirable.
Exposure to operational improvements and optimizations.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft programs, Salesforce, and modeling software.
Current driver's license.
