Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, our Water Management Maintenance Technicians play a key role in maintaining all site water assets including centrifugal pumps, portable generators, submersible pumps, isolation, and control valves. You will be joining a team of committed individuals who share a goal of peak efficiency, while maintaining the highest standard of safety in a large-scale dewatering environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesRoutine servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding and breakdown repairs on the site water system including pipe work, tanks and control valvesRemoval and installation of multistage bore pumps, centrifugal pumps, fire pumps and isolation and control valvesRefuelling of all generators and pumpsIdentification of faults within the water network and creation of SAP notifications to the respective engineering and maintenance disciplineOperation of mobile equipment including IT Loaders, Telehandlers, Excavators and Light/Medium TrucksPolywelding/fabricationOperation of large-scale water distribution system and managing pond levelsQualifications and ExperienceProven experience within water services operations including exposure to bore fields, mine plans, equipment isolations and water compliance requirementsPolywelding/fabrication experience highly desirableHRWL – LF, DG and CN are preferredC Class Manual Driver's LicenseCommitment to zero harm principles with a focus on continuous improvement strategiesSelf-motivated and ability to work in a strong team environment as well as autonomouslyStrong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP preferableAbout UsBe part of something big.
