Midwifery Unit Manager - Maternal Services
The Maitland Hospital, a Level 4 maternal services capability division, is seeking a skilled Midwifery Unit Manager to lead the team in providing high-quality care for women and neonates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee clinical activities to ensure high-quality, person-centred care for women, neonates, and families.
* Manage resources to meet service goals, ensuring care follows legal and evidence-based standards.
* Promote collaboration within the healthcare team and foster a positive, feedback-driven work environment.
* Act as a liaison between senior management and frontline staff, ensuring compliance with health policies and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Registered Midwife with current Authority to Practice with APRHA and postgraduate management qualifications or demonstrated clinical management experience.
* Ability to manage workforce functions, including recruitment, development, and performance.
* Capacity to promote safe work practices and continuous improvement.
