About The Opportunity We are seeking an Experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic on a Permanent Full-Time basis, based at Picton (Bunbury) workshop. Working closely with our maintenance teams and reporting to our Workshop Supervisors, this is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the largest CAT fleets in the Southern Hemisphere.
About You 2+ Years experience in a similar roleAustralian Recognised Trade CertificateDisplay a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employeesExperience in repairing and maintaining machinery such as: CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere mining equipment.Current experience in a mining or civil engineering environment, working on large scale equipment.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret detailed plans and diagramsHold a valid Australian Drivers LicenceWillingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol ScreenResponsibilities Utilising your organisational skills to ensure you are stocked with the required parts & tools to undertake work on site.Complete scheduled repairs and maintenance (rebuilds and component change outs) of mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner using correct manual handling techniques.Perform diagnostics, problem solving, and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner.Strive for continuous improvement by identifying, interpreting and repairing for reuse of any parts and accessories.Effectively work and communicate with other team members & clients on site to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.Able to work self-sufficiently, part of a team, autonomously, and conduct works in a professional manner.Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety.About The Offer Monday – Friday 6am – 4pmAccess to an expansive and well-resourced workshopLocally based Southwest RoleGreat benefits including Corporate HBF private health discount, discounted hotel stays and travel incentivesEmployee Assistance Programme for all employees and immediate familyOpportunity to work for an industry leading organisation with one of the largest CAT fleets in the Southern HemisphereFamily owned and operated business from our offices based in Bunbury, Western AustraliaApply If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, we invite you to apply and join our team through the link.
