You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive safety initiatives, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a strong safety culture.This role requires someone with a strong understanding of SHE regulations, experience in conducting audits, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Must have worked in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.This client is looking for someone who has a strong personality and who can influence, and negotiate with, stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesSHE Management: Oversee day-to-day SHE activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Incident Reporting & Compliance: Support incident investigations, hazard reporting, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Audits & Risk Management: Conduct SHE audits, analyse risks, and implement improvements to enhance workplace safety.Training & Awareness: Deliver safety training and coaching to employees to promote a proactive safety culture.Regulatory & ISO Standards: Assist in maintaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other SHE certifications.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance SHE performance and drive best practice initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various teams to ensure SHE processes are integrated into business operations.Key Selection Criteria:Experience in implementing and managing SHE systems within a regulated environment.Strong knowledge of workplace safety legislation and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to analyse SHE data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Qualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) or a related field.2-3+ years' experience in a similar SHE role.Experience within manufacturing environment.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Hours40hrs, Monday to Friday with flexibility on start and finish times.
