Our client, a local auto mechanical workshop in Cairns, has an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join their team. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.
Position summary
* Respond to a high volume of calls
* Greet customers and visitors to the business, create a positive first impression
* Schedule vehicle repairs, prepare invoices and take payments.
* Build relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.
* Liaise with customers regarding maintenance and warranty issues
* Maintain an up to date customer database
* Order parts and maintain stock
* Ensure a safe, clean environment for staff and customers
Key competencies
* Experience within the automotive industry would be advantages
* High level of personal presentation
* Excellent phone manner & customer service skills
* Good level of computer & administration skills
* Sales skills would be advantageous
* Excellent time management and forward planning skills with a high level of discipline and self-motivation

* Confident, happy and easy to get along with
* Valid driver's licence
* Mechanical background
* Computer and mechanical software knowledge
* Positive mindset to grow the business
* Passionate for the auto industry and genuine customer service skills
