We now have an exciting opportunity for a Coded Welder to join the Networks team in Eagle Farm QLD, on a Permanent Fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Field Delivery Manager, Networks, this position is responsible for executing a variety of welding tasks in specific configurations.
Key Responsibilities Proficiency in reading and interpreting piping spool drawings.
Fitting and welding small diameter piping spools to AS standards.
An understanding of QA/QC documentation to record weld and material traceability.
Adherence to industry and company procedures.
Commitment to a high level of safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Your background Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication / Boiler making, highly desirable.
Ability to weld piping in all positions, GTAW and MMAW.
Experience with small diameter piping fabrications including field installations The ability to weld within the parameters of a specified welding procedure.
Gas industry experience is preferred.
About the Team Networks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
