Job Description
We are seeking a Psychology Team Leader who is not only a skilled psychologist but also a passionate mentor and leader. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our psychology services by providing expert clinical guidance, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring our team delivers high-quality, impactful care.
This is a part-time role (four days a week) working from Peakhurst or one of our other Learning Links locations. As an experienced psychologist with a drive for leadership and professional development, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you can make a real difference in children's lives.
The Role:
* Clinical Leadership: Guide and mentor Psychologists, Provisional Psychologists and Psychology Aides, ensuring best practices and high-quality service delivery.
* Foster a Positive Team Culture: Support professional development, create a collaborative environment, and promote continuous learning.
* Maintain a Clinical Caseload: Deliver direct psychological assessments, therapy and interventions while staying actively involved in service delivery.
* Ensure Compliance & Quality Assurance: Uphold regulatory requirements, conduct clinical file audits, and implement risk management strategies.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Client Services, People & Culture, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist.
* Experience or a strong willingness to develop skills in mentoring, coaching, and leading within a psychology team.
* Experience in delivering evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions with children and adolescents.
* A commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement, and best practices.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A current driver's license and willingness to travel between service centres.
