Overview
The role of a Client Success Account Manager is a pivotal position that focuses on delivering exceptional account and relationship management to our esteemed clients based in Australia. With a primary responsibility for client retention, the Client Success Account Manager will oversee various aspects of the post-sales process, including onboarding, training, client service, and ongoing engagement. The ultimate goal is to cultivate and nurture client relationships, thereby maximizing the renewal of existing client revenue.
As an expert in our products, the Client Success Account Manager will play a vital role in providing comprehensive client training, ensuring that clients fully grasp the value and benefits offered by our solutions. By acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams, they will actively gather feedback and insights, facilitating continuous product enhancement and identifying new opportunities to further meet client needs.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background in account management, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A proactive approach, coupled with a deep commitment to client satisfaction, will be instrumental in excelling in this role. Responsibilities
1. Achieve allocated client renewal revenue targets.
2. Manage post-sales onboarding, relationship management, client retention and service for Rainmaker/ISS MI products
3. Develop and maintain excellent client relationships with assigned accounts and with existing and potential Rainmaker/ISS MI clients.
4. Provide ongoing training and support to Rainmaker clients, proactively and for inbound queries
5. Work closely with development, data operations, research and marketing teams to provide client feedback for product enhancements.
6. Assist the Head of Client Success with the client engagement, retention and renewal strategy for Rainmaker research and product clients.
7. Assist Technical Sales team with identifying sales opportunities, client prospecting, upsell opportunities and cross-product solutions
8. Assist Advertising Operations team to coordinate client advertising execution across digital and print media titles.
9. Manage client renewal pipeline in Salesforce
Qualifications
10. Bachelor or Masters degree in business, finance, marketing, communications or related field preferred but not essential.
11. With 2-5 years of industry experience in account management, sales or client services in financial services, technology, media, information service vendors, insurance, investment management or superannuation.
12. Understanding of wealth management, superannuation, life insurance and management investments preferred but not essential.
13. Strong client service, account management and engagement skills, ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels within the client organization.
14. Excellent communication, presentation and client training skills required.
15. Highly organized workflow with strong attention to detail, effective prioritization and time management.
16. Willingness to learn and develop.
17. Proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
18. Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
