Who are we looking for?
We are looking for experienced Engine Overhaul Technicians, who are professional and have a great attitude.
You will be flexible in your approach, and safety will be at the top of your priority list.
The positions will be in Wagga Wagga, NSW carrying out Engine Maintenance on turboshaft and turboprop engines, working Monday - Friday.
Your role In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.Test engine operation, using test equipment such as ignition analyser, compression checker, distributor timer, and ammeter, to identify malfunction.Detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burned valves.Disassemble and inspect engine parts, such as turbine blades and cylinders, for wear, warping, cracks, and leaks.Reassemble engine and install engine in aircraft.Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.Utilise your skills and experience to improve processes and apply best practices to optimise the quality of service provided.Essential Requirements: Certificate III light vehicle mechanic or similar.Previous experience on GE-CT7 maintenance & overhaul and GE-T700 (military) maintenance & overhaul.Experience working on the Black Hawk/Sea Hawk engines.A proactive and positive attitude.Reliable and punctual.Attention to detail, accurate.Ability and willingness to work to a time schedule.Passion for safety and working as part of a team.What's in it for you?
