We are currently recruiting for a new Support Worker to join our team based in East Launceston region to provide domestic assistance (such as cleaning and meal prep), intimate personal care, social support, and implement health and wellbeing initiatives that support our clients. As a Support Worker, you will join our esteemed national team of community services professionals, dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence and well-being.

About the role:
As a Support Worker you will be providing support and care for individuals aged 65 and above in the East Launceston community.
* Permanent part-time opportunity with guaranteed 40 hours/FN depending on your availability
* Experience variety by visiting clients in their homes within George Town and surrounding areas
* Preferred availability from Monday to Friday
* Benefit from a base hourly rate of $30.94 (plus superannuation, Km's reimbursement, salary packaging)

Who are you?
Your main focus will be delivering high-quality, person-centered care. To excel in this role, you will need the following:
* Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly
* Minimum of Cert III Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Current drivers licence
* A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
* Confidence in using different forms of technology such as a smart phone or tablet
* A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain
* A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
* Flexible approach to your availability and open to being rostered within work hours of 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday
