We are a values-based organisation whose mission is to uphold the values of kindness, love, patience and gentleness.We are seeking an experienced Director of Consumer Care & Services (Facility Manager) to manage the day-to-day operations of the home on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will also benefit from the support of the centralised team of excellence within our reputable, forward-thinking healthcare organisation.The home leadership team comprises two Care Managers, Education & Quality Officer, Administration Officers, Wellbeing Team Leader and Coordinators, along with a team of passionate nurses who will thrive working underneath your strong leadership.The successful applicant will be responsible for:Overall responsibility for all aspects of operating the 108-bed facility.Ensuring the facility and staff are up to date with compliance and policies according to the Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation Standards.Strategic planning, financial management, quality assurance, HR, and WH&S management.Liaising with residents and family.Ensuring staff demonstrate the values and objectives, policies, and procedures of the company.Continuous Quality improvement in all aspects of care, service delivery, education and staff development.Leading and managing the staff.Minimum Requirements:Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.Demonstrated experience in Operations Management within a Residential Aged Care setting.Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.An understanding of compliance with State and Regulatory requirements.An effective team leader who has the ability to motivate and encourage their team.Proven competency in operational planning, strategic and innovative thinking, resource management, rostering, and budget management.A truly collaborative, compassionate approach to work and the ability to inspire a team.Committed to Quality improvements, WHS principles, and education.Evidence of Covid Vaccination.Your attributes:You will demonstrate our signature behaviours of ‘We always work to delight our residents’, ‘Understand, solve and deliver’, ‘Do what we say we will do’ and ‘Work together, achieve together’ in every interaction, every day.If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience for this position, please forward your resume and covering letter describing your experience and suitability specific to this position through SEEK.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a facilities manager?Are you currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)?Which of the following statements best describes your Covid-19 vaccination status?Do you have experience working with people with dementia?How many years of people management experience do you have?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of the residential aged care accreditation standards?What's your expected annual base salary?
