Our customer service officers are the first point of contact for people visiting our 14 offices around the state and play an important role in providing services to our clients. In this diverse and challenging role, you will respond to telephone inquiries, provide clients with legal information and help them complete application forms. You will also be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including data entry, word processing, mail, and records management.

What you will do
* Act as the first point of contact at the front counter, schedule appointments, provide legal information, referral advice and assist clients
* Respond to enquiries received on the telephone
* Analyse, assess and process applications for legal aid
* Ensure publications in the reception area are available and current
About you: The successful candidate will have
* Demonstrated administrative and customer service experience
* Effective communication skills with clients with complex needs
* Ability to learn policies and procedures, analyse information and determine appropriate information to be conveyed to others
