Company Description The Department of Business Strategy and Innovation offers internationally recognised degrees in international business, entrepreneurship, information management and Asian studies.Our degrees focus on business strategy, sustainability and business innovation.Our high-impact research, innovative approach and strong partnerships with industry will ensure you graduate with a highly relevant degree that is valued by employers.This enables you to contribute effectively in your chosen field and meet challenges facing both the domestic and the global business environment.Job Description Are you enrolled in a Griffith HDR program post confirmation and have at least two trimesters of prior teaching experience?The Griffith Business Schools, Department of Business Strategy and Innovation is offering three exciting opportunities for HDR Student to join our academic team in Trimester 1, 2025.As an HDR Student Teaching Fellow, enhance your teaching experience while continuing your research while contributing meaningfully the University's teaching mission through teaching, scholarship, and service activities.In these roles, you'll collaborate with experienced convenors to lead workshops and assess assignments, particularly in various areas of Business, Strategy and Innovation the undergraduate level.You'll also have opportunities to grow your teaching skills in higher education, supported by an academic supervisor who will guide your development as you gain greater independence in scholarly pursuits.Additionally, these roles include a chance to support Griffith Business School's outreach activities and engage with the broader academic community.This role is at Associate Lecturer (Level A) and is an integrated paid work experience opportunity for Griffith HDR students to work as a Teaching Fellow.Consequently, you will be expected to participate in professional development with the aim of seeking recognition of your experience and skills through the Advance HE Professional Standards Framework.On campus, face-to-face teaching is required and the work patterns for the part-time position is expected to reflect the teaching requirements of the role.Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching at the undergraduate level facilitating high quality, student-centred learning activities.Support high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students evidenced by technology enhanced learning, problem oriented, authentic learning and assessment practices.Support a student-centred service culture and establishment of positive, respectful and supportive relationships between staff and students.Where appropriate promote and enhance student learning experiences through seeking opportunities to strengthen Griffith's research / teaching nexus.Continuously improve teaching practice through professional development and critical reflection informed by a range of evaluation approaches.Where appropriate to support personal professional development act as course convenor at the undergraduate level, with support and direction from more senior staff.This is a fixed term, 20% part-time position.Appointments may be up to 2 years and the term of the contract will take into consideration the duration of the candidate's studies.The position may be based at the Griffith University Gold Coast, Nathan or Logan campuses.As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across campus locations.In your application, please nominate your areas of expertise, including but not limited to Management, Asian Business, Digital Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Business .Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.Salary Range The full-time equivalent base salary for an Associate Lecturer (Level A) in the range $78,034 - $104,938 per annum + 17% superannuation.The total FTE package will be in the range $91,299 - $122,777 per annum.Qualifications The successful candidate will be enrolled in a Griffith HDR program post confirmation and have at least two trimesters of prior teaching experience.You will also have: Demonstrated ability to teach in Management, Asian Business, Digital Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Business;
