As a Senior Legal Secretary, you will be an integral part of the operations team, collaborating with partners and senior legal professionals in this prestigious firm's Brisbane office. In this role, you will provide high-quality, proactive business support and play a crucial role in assisting senior legal professionals in managing the financial aspects of their practice, including client reporting. Key Responsibilities: Support: Provide comprehensive practice and client management support, including financial management, diary management, expense management, document management, and Learning Management System administration. Client Service Delivery: Understand and manage administrative client requirements to ensure consistent service delivery across matter teams. Practice Management: Understand the commercial drivers of a legal practice, interpret data, and apply client knowledge to support partners in practice management. Financial Administration: Manage all administrative duties associated with matter financials, including billing, e-billing audits, tracking of non-dispatched bills, missing timesheets, cost estimates, and reporting. Guidance and Information: Provide guidance and be a resource on drafting, producing documents, and practice management processes and procedures. About You Experience in a similar role, ideally within a mid/top-tier law firm. Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence, presentations, pitch documents, and slide packs quickly and accurately. Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in an environment of continuous change, working with challenging clients or stakeholders. A high degree of initiative, proactivity, and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks/projects and deliver innovative solutions to improve systems and work practices. Strong influencing skills, with the ability to respectfully manage upwards with stakeholders.
