Your responsibilities will include: As the Senior Procurement Representative, you will lead and perform various procurement activities including sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, supplier identification and management for a wide range of products. You will be the subject matter expert in relation to procurement where you will provide expert advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the company. You will develop strategies to source, negotiate and purchase products to meet program requirements, and manage procurement processes through to delivery, including contract administration for projects. You will liaise with external suppliers to resolve complex queries issues, expedite orders, and monitor supplier performance. Maintain accurate procurement data records in system/s of record and internal tracking tools in accordance with company processes and procedures. In addition to the above, you will also participate in bid proposals and lead tender evaluation panels, when required. Your advanced analytical skills will be essential to compile and analyse data to support your strategies for buying products, establishing price objectives and managing supplier performance. About you: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate significant procurement experience and vendor management experience, possess strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, along with; A focused, flexible, proactive and positive attitude Professional and strong work ethic An ability to prepare, analyse and interpret highly complex reports and management information Advanced data analysis and excel skills Extensive knowledge of applicable law as it relates to procurement Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
