OHS Planning and implementation Review, develop, implement and monitor an effective Health and Safety Plan that is aligned to the TOP Strategic Plan and directly addresses the challenges and context of the function.Manage TOP annual and tactical health and safety operating plans, ensuring risk is minimized across TOP.Health and Safety Leadership and Education Model best practice health and safety leadership by providing specialist advice, practical guidance and support to TOP business leaders.Champion health and safety leadership and build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and employees and drive step change in TOP's performance.Auditing, Risk and Incident Management Manage a program of health and safety audits, that includes scheduled and 'unscheduled' audits, across sites reviewing against the requirements of legislation, company guidelines and safety management plans.Manage the identification and mitigation of hazards and the reporting and investigation of incidents.Ensure workplace health and safety improvement initiatives are identified and delivered, leading to improvements in health and safety performance.Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including legislation (including public health orders), national and international standards and codes of practice, and ensure that these are integrated into TOP's WHSMS.Ownership of TOP WHSMS and ensuring that site management are coached and mentored in the implementation and delivery of desired results.Reporting & Performance Measurement Report on monthly TOP health and safety performance and strategic plans via Executive Team and Board papers ensuring the business understands and takes ownership for their lead and lag indicators and results.Health and Wellness Manage an external occupational health service in support of injury prevention, management and rehabilitation programs to promote employee health and wellbeing.What sort of person are you? To succeed in this role, here are a few attributes that will serve you well. You will have gained your experience through OHS Specialist roles or similar health and safety management roles.You have a Bachelor's degree in an applied science and/or relevant field.You are a skilled communicator, natural influencer and can connect easily with people.You will have a working knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements and experience dealing with regulators.You will have experience implementing and managing a health and safety management system.You will have had experience in issues management and risk mitigation.You can easily analyse and interpret data, developing reports and identifying meaningful trends.You are able to travel interstate and intrastate.Why work for Tadano Oceania?
