About the Team
The purpose of the Asset and Sourcing Team, within the ICT Operations Section is to manage and optimise the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of digital assets and resources essential for the Commission's operations, by maintaining accurate inventories, tracking usage, and optimising asset utilisation.
Purpose of the Position
The team is seeking a Contract Officer at the APS 4 level who will support the asset management department with administrative tasks related to the management of contracts. They will support the contracts team within the Asset Management department with the day-to-day contract management tasks. The position will take direction from the ICT Contract Manager and guidance from the ICT Contract Specialist to keep all contracts within the scope of the Digital team maintained to a high-quality standard.
Position Duties
* Supporting the ICT Asset Management team with lifecycle management of ICT contracts.
* Working closely with all areas of the digital team to source business requirements and coordinating the logistics of document sharing.
* Maintaining and updating registers, databases and other systems in a well organised and timely manner.
* Creating and drafting documents to support the lifecycle of commercial contracts with a high level of coordination and organisation.
* Triaging and responding to incoming requests through a shared mailbox and team chat channels.
* Managing stakeholder relationships and working closely with the other key departments to seek approvals and clearances.
Selection Criteria
Essential Requirements
* Knowledge of procurement, sourcing and contract management processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Operate with a high level of moral and ethical posture in line with the APS code of conduct.
* High quality document formatting and quality control capabilities including collaboration.
* Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
* Work independently, as part of a team, and under supervision.
* Identify and document risk in established risk management structures.
Desirable Requirements
* Previous experience within government contracting space.
* Knowledge of the government procurement rules. (PGPA act)
* Experience with systems like Docusign and Tech One.
* Advanced knowledge of Share Point, Teams and One Drive capabilities.
* Sound understanding of ICT technology infrastructure.
* Understanding of vendor performance measures.
Position Notes
Salary offered will be between $77,481 - $81,869 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.

Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for an irregular/intermittent term. Opportunities will be offered for varying periods up to 12 months with the option to extend to a total of 24 months.
