EL1 Instructional Material Manager

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Instructional Material Manager to join their team for an initial 6-month contract
The Job
As a member of the Compliance and Assurance Team, you will contribute to a project focused on reforming a regulatory list. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to ensure effective implementation of these reforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of instructional materials including standard operating procedures, work instructions and templates to support the Compliance and Assurance capabilities associated with safeguarding the settings of the Prescribed List
* Establish and manage collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including liaising with stakeholders to inform the development and implementation of instructional materials
* Lead the management of planning, organising and coordinating instructional materials and associated activities to support transition to Business as Usual.
* Supervise, mentor and support APS staff, ensuring they have the opportunity to lead and contribute to the work of the team.
* Other duties in the administration of reform activities managed by the section, as required.
Key Capabilities
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing instructional material
* Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage work activities and staff.
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Ability to work under limited direction, and exercise common sense and intelligence in decision making processes.
* Experience in compliance and assurance processes such as case management, research and review as well as risk assessment and development of guidance materials.
The following are desirable but not essential:
* Experience in development of instructional material or development of other documentation
* Experience or qualification in a compliance, regulation, risk management or assurance related field
* Qualifications and experience in a health-related science (e.g. pharmaceutical/clinical, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, biochemistry etc) or other health technology assessment related disciplines
* Qualifications and experience in compliance, assurance and risk related disciplines
* Qualifications in public policy or law.

* Ability to obtain Baseline clearance
