The Opportunity: In the role of Practice Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Partner, playing a pivotal role in the firm's continued success.
Your leadership will guide a group of dedicated lawyers and support staff focused on achieving optimal client outcomes, while also driving revenue growth and ensuring rigorous operational oversight.
This position offers a dual focus: you will oversee all management-related responsibilities outlined below while also managing your own caseload within your areas of specialisation.
Your contributions will be integral to fostering a high-performing environment that embodies the firm's standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the firm, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource allocation.
Cultivate strong relationships within the firm to maintain a cohesive and motivated group of over 60 professionals (not all direct reports).
Demonstrate entrepreneurial acumen to enhance the firm's reputation and provide robust technical oversight.
Actively support and mentor staff to ensure effective case management and high levels of client satisfaction.
Conduct thorough research, liaise with barristers, and identify legal precedents and strategies to enhance overall success.
Assist the Managing Partner with strategic initiatives and provide day-to-day technical legislative guidance.
Provide operational oversight, effectively manage budgets, and ensure staff performance aligns with the firm's objectives.
Ensure clients receive comprehensive legal advice and representation to secure maximum compensation.
Exhibit strong leadership, sound judgment, and commercial insight to navigate complex situations.
What You'll Bring: To thrive in this role, you will have: 10+ years of experience in a specialised field of personal injury law.
A current practicing certificate.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team.
Strong understanding of, and ability to interpret, relevant legislation and legal documentation.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients.
