The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Performance, Controls and Regulatory Engineer to develop a compliant regulatory program and commission renewables generating facilities’ SCADA systems and to meet the requirements of the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCi) Act.
The incumbent will be accountable to the Head of Operations and will be based at our Pelican Point power station. Travel to other sites within SA will be required.
This is a full time role and reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage a compliant program to satisfy the requirements of ENGIE’s Industrial Cybersecurity requirements and the Australian Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SoCi)
2. Assist with commissioning new renewable assets generating facilities SCADA and control systems.
3. Develop and manage a control improvement plan.
4. Manage generation Licence regulatory compliance requirements.
5. Monitor renewable assets performance and identify improvement opportunities
6. Develop and implement asset management plans, incorporating detailed plans for optimal performance and performance monitoring.
7. Contribute to the external and internal audit programs.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience with the implementation of electrical system management systems and have understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and management system development. You have previously monitored asset performance and have identified and implemented improvement opportunities.
You can ensure accountability, communicate effectively and manage complexity.

Renewables
12. With 165MW of operating wind farms in South Australia and 3000MW of identified pipeline of solar, wind and large-scale batteries under development, ENGIE is making a sizeable contribution to the progress of renewable energy production in Australia.

We strive for operational excellence in all aspects of green hydrogen production, including process design, equipment selection, and when up and operational in the optimization of our asset infrastructure. ENGIE and Mitsui are developing one of the world’s first industrial-scale renewable hydrogen projects to provide feedstock into Yara Pilbara Fertilisers' (Yara) existing ammonia operations near Karratha in Western Australia.
Energy Solutions
14. ENGIE is building the future of electric vehicle fast charging stations in Australia for both fleets and the public. ENGIE is aiming to be operating 300 charging points across Australia by 2024. With approximately 1,000 charge points scheduled to be installed by 2025, this will mean the ENGIE public rapid charger network will be accessible within 10km for around 80% of the Australian population, and our Fleet network will be helping business and government to accelerate their decarbonisation goals.
