In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the charge in developing and reviewing policies that strengthen the organisation’s mission. Your expertise will be key in maintaining and supporting the controlled document management system.This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability for collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Manager Service Excellence and Outcomes you’ll have the opportunity to influence meaningful change and contribute to a purpose-driven team.This role is offered on a 6-month Fixed Term, Part Time basis. 22.8 hrs / 0.6 FTE per week located at our Head Office in Burswood.If you would be keen to join us, we are now seeking a passionate and committed professional to join our team who can:Assist in the development and review of service and practice-based procedures and guidelines.Collaborate with staff across Parkerville to ensure policy issues are well understood.Prepare high level briefings, presentations and other forms of correspondence as required.Communicate effectively with frontline managers throughout briefing processes, presentations and reporting processes.Conduct research and analyse information to inform the development of policies and procedures to proactively identify emerging issues.Hold a good understanding of standards and service delivery functions and requirements.Support the organisation’s accreditation alignment with National Child Safe Principles.The successful candidate for this role should have:Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant discipline AND/OR extensive experience in policy/business development ideally in the community / health / for purpose sector.Demonstrated ability to understand what legislation, regulations and guidelines apply to service standards and operational support materials and documentation.Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills to identify risks and make recommendations.Ability to set and maintain confidentiality standards and expectations.Parkerville Children and Youth Care are uniquely positioned to provide the successful applicant with the following benefits:SCHADS Schedule B Pay Point and Level – Level 5.1-5.3 – $49.28 – $51.51 per hour.EAP Service with Wellness resources.Salary Packaging of up to $15,900.Parkerville Children and Youth Care have a zero tolerance to alcohol and drugs.It is essential that all applicants meet the above criteria and are permitted to work and remain in Australia with no limitations.We hope to hear from you by 4:00pm, Monday, 7th April 2025.
