We currently have multiple opportunities to join our team in Adelaide.You will be working on delivering design and documentation on program of works with SA Water supporting the JV with John Holland and Guidera O'Connor. What you'll do Experience in the application of modelling software and/or analytics techniques; Ideally, have local design and modelling experience in consulting firms in fields such as water/wastewater/stormwater networks, pumping stations, and water treatment - or in mining, infrastructure or industrial projects. As an experienced CAD specialist, you will proactively maintain effective networks and relevant industry relationships to gain cooperation in meeting business and client outcomes. Generate and maintain federated BIM-compliant models, ensuring clash detection and reporting, as well as database management and manipulation in alignment with client BIM and CAD standards. Demonstrated experience 'thinking outside the box' and challenging the status quo; Assume a leadership role in both large and small projects, taking ownership and conducting meetings, check-ins, and design reviews with clients, engineers, and other design staff. Demonstrate a high level of technical and professional acuity throughout. About You We value diverse strengths and are seeking Mechanical Technologists or Senior Mechanical Technologists with proven experience in the water, mining, or industrial sectors.Depending on your background, you will have: Proven structural drafting experience, project experience in infrastructure structures across water networks and treatment projects an advantage. Strong Autodesk Advance Steel, Revit, and BIM coordination experience are essential. Proven ability to adapt to evolving technology. Mechanical drafting (Plant 3D) experience is highly regarded. Dynamo or coding experience is highly regarded. Experience working in a design consulting environment highly regarded. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enthusiasm coupled with a passion for the water & construction industries. Excellent communication skills - able to speak and write clearly and concisely.
