What’s the role?We have an exciting opportunity to join the Subscriber Experience & Delivery team working across some of the most well-known media brands across Australia.Reporting to the Senior Manager – Delivery, this role will advocate for the subscriber experience from acquisition through to the omni-channel service experience for national, metro and regional masthead subscribers within key initiatives and projects. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to project based work and gain an in-depth understanding of the different phases of the subscription lifecycle in its entirety.This is a fundamental support role that will collaborate with multiple business stakeholder groups and partner with technical project leads on the end-to-end delivery of initiatives, supporting both the business and operational delivery of key initiatives that optimise customer and business outcomes for all News brands. The role will also work closely with the Marketing team on customer-facing go-to-market activities.Day to day, the role will carry out tasks such as:Support the execution of the SX & Delivery roadmap, ensuring project deliverables are met on time, including both technical and business tasks;Provide administrative support including maintenance of project management systems, preparation of plans / results tracking / status reports;Support testing and sign off of new capabilities and/or products ahead of launch (UAT/BVT);Execute GTM activities including delivering the product and marketing requirements (e.g product matrix, T&Cs, customer journey mapping, and briefing relevant teams for campaign delivery);Execute change program for internal/external communications (incl. contact centre briefing)Provide performance reporting for review and analysis for new initiatives implemented.Who are you?You’re a highly motivated person who is passionate about working in a high-performing environment. You will also be a team player who effectively builds relationships and is a fast learner with a technical mind who can pick up technical concepts quickly. You will need to have the following:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or a related field preferable. Internship or placement experience is beneficial.Customer-first approach: a champion for the customer when problem-solving for the best outcome.Analytical & critical thinking: Ability to analyse data sets and develop segmentation and cohort analysis; solid analytical and problem solving skills, breaking issues down into their components to assess problems and risks.Understanding of project management principles with experience in supporting the delivery of projects & stakeholder management across company functions to deliver customer outcomes over a sustained period of time.Effective time management: Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.Adaptability & flexibility: Successfully adjusts to and works effectively with uncertain & changing situations, and a variety of individuals or groups.Knowledge and hands on experience across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite and experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Monday.com (or similar) is highly desirable.News BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
